Univenture 'UniKeep Disc 10 Wallet' Chosen For Use In Packaging Home Entertainment DVD Disc Sets

Leading Independent A/V Entertainment Supplier BCI, A Navarre Corporation Company, Selects Handy Fully Enclosed Package for Marketing Various Movie Sets and Episodic Television Compilations

Marysville, OH July 15, 2004 -- The UniKeep(R) Disc 10 Wallet, a product of Univenture, Inc., the award winning inventor and manufacturer of a wide array of media packaging solutions, was selected by leading independent entertainment video and audio supplier BCI for use in a number of its recently released movie and television collections. BCI is the originator of the hugely successful DVD multi-pack, offering multiple movies or television programs packaged together at one low price.

"The durable UniKeep Disc 10 Wallet is perfect for consumer applications such as this by BCI," stated Univenture President Michele Cole. "It is cost-effective, fully enclosed with a lightweight, space-efficient stackable design. Its full-wrap overlay allows for customized, full-color front and back-cover graphics, that can economically depict the contents in an eye-catching, appealing manner. Plus, its environmentally safe, unique 100% polypropylene construction means consumers, if they ever want to, can easily dispose of the item through curbside recycling programs."

The single-injection molded two-ring UniKeep Disc 10 Wallet includes 10 patented poly Safety-sleeve(R) disc pages with lift-up windows to securely hold discs in place. The use of polypropylene ensures seams will not split and the snap-tight rings will not misalign as found with bendable metal rings, commonly used in binder-type packaging. It contains no environment-harming PVCs

"When we first saw samples of what Univenture was proposing, we knew immediately that the UniKeep Disc 10 Wallet was perfect for our needs," commented Greg Glass, Senior Vice President for BCI. "The size was exactly what we wanted and the fact we could custom design the cover was very important. The quality packaging construction has enhanced our product and been well received by our customers."

BCI chose the UniKeep Disc 10 Wallet for use in its following sets: Return of the Warriors (20 movie martial arts set); Nightmares from the Crypt (20 movie set of horror films); Space Quest (20 movie sci-fi set); TV Time Comedy (over 35 hours from 100 episodes of classic TV comedies); and Great Western TV Shows (over 37 hours from 50 episodes of popular TV Westerns). The titles are available at most major retailers throughout North America.

Members of the BCI in-house Art Department designed the covers. Printing was done by Dot Graphics in Chatsworth, CA.
